BID Member Programs

Since our inception, the Myrtle Avenue Business Improvement District has participated in a broad range of programs that benefit our commercial leaseholders, property owners, employees of BID businesses, and every visitor to our vibrant BID. The Myrtle Avenue BID works in collaboration with city agencies and the Myrtle Avenue BID Merchants to provide beneficial programs in the following areas:

-Property Owners: Façade Improvement and Retail Recruitment

-Commercial Leaseholders: Promotional Programs

-Community Members: Green Markets, NYC Plaza Program, Holiday Promotional Programs

Employee Discount Program

A program to provide the workforce of the Myrtle Avenue BID with shopping discounts not available to the general public.

Ridgewood Farmstand

NYC Plaza Program

Along with providing beautification and maintenance, the BID hosts a variety of events at our Plazas each year.

Facade Improvement

Outreach to property owners and merchants to promote the importance of restoring commercial storefront facades.

Holiday Promotional Programs

The Myrtle Avenue BID provides and coordinates holiday lighting, music and other events to enhance the shopping experience during the holiday season.
