The Myrtle Avenue BID sponsors special events, giveaways, and coordinated advertising for promotional periods. Flyers, sale cards, and surveys are distributed to Myrtle Avenue businesses throughout the year. A variety of businesses donate gift certificates for Lucky Shopper raffles and participate in the Employee Discount Card Program.

 

During the year there are currently seven sidewalk sale events, three street festivals, and other special Programs.  Due to COVID restrictions, regular yearly events may be restricted or cancelled.  Please visit our events page for details about upcoming promotions and events.

All holiday events are posted on the BID Facebook page & Twitter and e-notices are sent out via Constant Contact.

Support Small Businesses on Myrtle Avenue!  As part of their commitment to support small businesses, American Express gives registered card members free gifts when they shop at small businesses on Small Business Saturday. The BID distributes information material from American Express to merchants, sends out postcards, E-notices, posts the event on Facebook and places ads in local papers regarding the promotion.
